The PA General Assembly declared that playing of bingo for the purpose of raising funds, by certain nonprofit associations, for the promotion of charitable or civic purposes, is in the public interest.

All phases of licensing, operation and regulation of the dealing with the game of Bingo is strictly controlled under the gambling laws of PA and are enforced through the PA State Police.
